Telenium Quality of Service Manager is designed to support the measuring, prediction and assurance of the performance of network assets. In telecom applications, availability, bandwidth, latency and error rates are monitored, and the QOS application is configured to automatically initiate alarms in the Telenium NMS when identified thresholds are passed. The performance of other network resources is measured as well – battery voltages, fuel tank levels, microwave receive signal levels, temperatures and any other analog values – to ensure that the defined level of performance is met.
